Our Mission

The pursuit of academic excellence often continues long after the school day ends. However, for many families, navigating rigorous homework without immediate support at home can become a significant barrier to a student's confidence and success.

Bella Futures is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to ensuring that a student’s progress is never limited by the resources available to them at home. Founded by Sofia Fisher, a high school student and long-time tutor, Bella Futures provides a "bridge" of support through our Breakthrough Buddy Program.

Our mission is simple: to support underserved communities by providing access to education, mentorship, and essential resources that address both immediate needs and future goals.

General Questions

What subjects do you offer learning in?

Bella Futures provides free 1-on-1 tutoring for elementary, junior high and high school students across all subjects including Math, Science, Languages, English, History and test preparation.

Plus we offer online "Essential" Training to equip teenagers with the practical life skills schools don't teach such as money, investing and financial literacy through a free, structured online curriculum. Our Essentials Training is available nationwide to students in grades 6–12, covering core life skills for finances, career and business.

Are sessions conducted online or in-person?

We provide both online and in-person options to accommodate different learning preferences and schedules. The online model allows us to help students all over the nation. The in-person model is currently in Arizona as we have partnered with schools in the Phoenix area to go onsite at specific times. How are Breakthrough Buddies/Tutors selected?

Our Breakthrough Buddy/Tutors are carefully vetted and have a passion for helping students succeed. We personally meet with each Breakthrough Buddy to ensure they are qualified in their subject areas and train them with resources to help.

Can I customize the tutoring schedule?

Yes! We offer flexible scheduling to fit your availability, ensuring that learning fits seamlessly into your routine. Once you sign up, you will receive access to our online calendar so you can select a time that works for you and/or your child.
